NFL Defensive POY in Milano to cheer on snowboarder girlfriend

LIVIGNO, Italy — There will be one supporter of Team USA – and more specifically two-time Olympic women’s snowboard halfpipe champion Chloe Kim – in the Italian Alps that NFL fans will surely recognize.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, fresh off unanimously winning the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year campaign in which he set the single-season record for sacks, will be at Livigno Snow Park for the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics to cheer on Kim; the two have been linked together since May 2025 and confirmed their relationship in November, according to People Magazine.

Garrett headed to Italy after his Super Bowl week media responsibilities. Kim’s qualifier is Wednesday, Feb. 11.

‘Honestly, Myles is such an incredible athlete,’ she said. ‘I’m constantly inspired and in awe of him and how hard he works and how incredibly kind he is. He genuinely is one of the kindest people I think I’ve ever met. I’m really lucky to be part of his life and lucky that he’s part of mine. Yeah, we’re happy.’

Kim posted a message of congratulations on her Instagram story after Garrett received his award at the 2026 NFL Honors. Garrett told People Magazine that he is trying to be Kim’s ‘rock’ and reciprocate the level of support she showed him all season.

‘We’re both just so supportive of one another,’ said Garrett, who claims he is more romantic than his partner. ‘She’s always texting, she’s always calling to see how I’m doing during the year and I’m doing the same right now, checking on her, seeing how she’s feeling, emotionally and physically.’

The two push each other competitively within their own sports and with each other, Garrett said.

‘It’s so competitive,’ he told People. ‘When we get into our sports, even when we play games against each other.’
