Cooper Flagg scores game-high 33 points in Mavericks win

Flagg scored 33 points in the Dallas Mavericks’ 131-130 win against the Denver Nuggets at the American Airlines Center on Tuesday, Dec. 23. Flagg also came close to his first career triple-double, recording 9 rebounds and 9 assists against the Nuggets.

Flagg, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, was the game’s leading scorer, shooting 14 of 21 from the field with four 3-pointers on 6 attempts.

Flagg, who turned 19 on Dec. 21, also has a 35-point and 42-point game on his rookie season ledger. Flagg was the first 18-year-old player in NBA history with a 40-point game.
